Livingstone Range School Division  is accepting applications for substitute Educational Assistants.  Educational Assistants work under the direction of a certified teacher.  You will assist students in optimizing learning potential within a variety of educational settings.  This support may include behavior management, curriculum implementation, social skills development, personal care and physical assistance. 

Livingstone Range School Division  is located in the southwestern corner of Alberta encompassing fourteen schools in the communities of Nanton, Stavely, Claresholm, Granum, Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, Lundbreck and Crowsnest Pass. Within our Division, we also have thirteen Hutterite Schools.  

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-aged children in an inclusive classroom setting
• Experience with and/or training working with students with various learning needs.
• Experience with and/or training working with core subject programming and support (LA, math, social studies, and science).
• Certification from accredited Educational Assistant Program or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students/staff in a flexible environment.
